The first round of technical playtests for the upcoming Battlefield 2042 game are about to begin, so check your inbox now to see if you’ve got a golden ticket.

If you’ve not heard of these but would like to get involved in future testing phases you’ll first need to sign up to become an EA playtester via (there is no New Zealand, we just select Australia)

Standard rules apply, the technical playtest will be in a closed environment and under strict NDA no captured gameplay is allowed to be shared, we’ll have to wait for the BETA testing to begin for that 🙂

Via EA: This means a few thousand participants will join us to help us test some of our new features and functionality that we’re building from the ground up for Battlefield 2042. Do keep in mind that the Technical Playtest is purposefully not intended to be the full experience you will see in the Open Beta, or at launch. It is a development-led environment with only a subset of features, focused on technical performance.
