Good Team Communication with RTX Voice!

Nvidia have done such a good job with their new RTX voice feature, creating a wonderfully easy to use software package that destined to improve team chat all around the world.

This feature has been in test for a while now, but it got a proper debut with new RTX 3070, RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 graphic card announcements.

The NVIDIA RTX Voice plugin was said to leverages NVIDIA RTX GPUs and their AI capabilities to remove distracting background noise from your broadcasts, voice chats, and remote video conferencing meetings.

However, it was uncovered on Guru3D forums that removing a single line also allowed the software to also be run with GTX series graphics cards too.

Via GURU3D Forums:

The new nVIDIA RTX Voice works just fine without an RTX GPU and on windows 7 too but you still need an nVIDIA GPU it won’t work with AMD, tested and working on a GTX 1080 and a Titan V, here’s how to make it install…

After executing the installer and getting the message that stops it installing the installer files are extracted to C:\temp\NVRTXVoice

Open the file C:\temp\NVRTXVoice\NvAFX\RTXVoice.nvi with a text editor and remove the “constraints” section that looks like this:

<constraints>
<property name=”Feature.RTXVoice” level=”silent” text=”${{InstallBlockedMessage}}”/>
</constraints>

with that section deleted save the file and execute the installer here: C:\temp\NVRTXVoice\setup.exe

This software is absolutely unreal! Enjoy.

Amazing! This allows users to “go live” or join a meeting without having to worry about unwanted sounds like loud keyboard typing or other ambient noise in noisy environments. RTX Voice also suppresses background noise from players in loud environments, making incoming audio easier to understand.

Nvidia have made an excellent guide to setting the software up on Discord, OBS, Chrome and more here = https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/guides/nvidia-rtx-voice-setup-guide/
